Suggested features to enhance the forum

This is great! I had a couple of thoughts on how to enhance this.

1) can we add on a notification feature where you get an email when there’s a new post? I clicked subscribe to this topic below I wonder if that will do it?

2) can we add a “what’s new” link that shows the new posts. Take a look at pilots of americas website for an example.

Under Subscription, the user selects their preferences.

Your options are

Individual subscription - you get notified of activities in forums and topics you subscribe to

New Topic - You get notified of new topics

New Topics and Posts - You get notified of all new topics and all posts

I got a notification as well. It went to my spam though.
